Kilimanjaro Charity
The Village Education Project
Challenge sponsorship will be spent on the renovation of the seven rudimentary classrooms and facilities that make up the Kilaremo Primary School.
Most schools are in poor condition with earth floors, breeze-block walls, no shutters or doors, and decrepit desks. Over 90% of primary school leavers in rural villages never have the chance of secondary education. The Primary School provides vital basic education for children that is the key to any lasting development for their communities.
Depending on the total funds raised, G4G will also fund the Mrokora Primary School, in the Marangu district & Nkweseko Primary School, in the Machame district.
