Savour the art of Japanese cuisine at Hyatt Regency Dubai
Hyatt Regency Dubai recently reopened Miyako, its renowned Japanese restaurant after an extensive refinement, where the art of Japanese cuisine became the central theme of the new design. Decorated in rich reds, greens and gold's, the stunning new Miyako features three teppanyaki tables, a tatami room, sushi bar and intimate restaurant seating.
Chef Haruyama and his team ensure that guests can enjoy a wide range of Japanese cuisine, including teppanyaki; where the chef prepares meat, fish, vegetables and spices on a hot skillet at the table, tempura; where fish, meat and vegetables are deep fried in a light batter so delicate it dissolves in the mouth. Sushi, another traditional dish which helped to propel Japanese cuisine to the mainstream, where raw fish is combined with rice to create bite size morsels of perfect flavour and colour combinations. Or you could opt to dine in Miyako's tatami room, where guests sit on traditional tatami matting with legs dropping into a sunken floor.
