Hospitality returns to Hyatt Regency Dubai at Miyako

Miyako, Hyatt Regency Dubai's renowned Japanese restaurant has reopened after an extensive refinement. The superb cuisine is enhanced by a totally new restaurant layout and décor, which includes three teppanyaki tables, a sushi bar and traditional tatami room.

"To me, Japanese food is all about flavour, aroma, texture and taste, and in addition, presentation plays a major part of the dining experience. At Miyako, I like to show how in Japanese cuisine, there are many ways of preparing and cooking with key ingredients, each method offering a completely different sensation for the taste buds," explained Masayasu Haruyama, Chef de Cuisine, Miyako.

The Kitchen

The Kitchen offers a culinary combination of Western, Middle Eastern and Asian inspired foods, served in an intimate and stylish setting. Featuring a dynamic open kitchen and visually inspiring dessert buffet, The Kitchen is a dining spectacle for those who enjoy watching expert chefs at work. Alongside the centrepiece wood fired oven, The Kitchen features a tandoor oven, lava stone grill and bakery oven.

To whet your appetite, the varied menu includes dishes from around the world, including Tom yam goong, hot and sour soup with prawns, straw mushroom and lemon grass, Lava stone grilled Veal 'T' Bone with extra virgin olive oil and sage, Pad thai goong sod, fried rice noodles with prawns from the wok and duck breast with honey, shallots and mushroom from the tandoor oven.

The Kitchen also boasts an impressive buffet dessert centerpiece, incorporating a 'chocoholic' theme and a premium ensemble of pastries and sweet delicacies.
